There are three types of contraindications. Total, local and medical.

Total : When massage should NOT be performed at all.

  • Fever
  • Any contagious diseases, including colds and flu, no matter how mild they are.
  • Recent operations or acute injuries
  • Skin diseases
  • Being under the influence of drugs or alcohol, including prescription pain medication

Local :  The therapist can massage, but not over areas affected by –

  • Varicose veins
  • Undiagnosed lumps or bumps
  • Bruising
  • Cuts and Abrasions
  • Inflammation including arthritis
  • Sunburn
  • Skin rashes
  • Acute pain

Medical : If you have any of the following conditions, you would have to get permission from a Doctor before proceeding with massage therapies –

  • Cardio-vascular conditions
  • Anything you are currently being treated for by a Doctor or medical practitioner, be it physical or psychological
  • High blood pressure
  • Edema
  • Osteoporosis
  • Diabetes
  • Cancer
  • Epilepsy
  • Any condition of the nerves
  • Chronic skin ailments

Swedish Massage

Swedish massage performed by application of medium to firm pressure to the major muscle groups. Swedish massage help with relaxation, rejuvenation of your body, enhances sleep quality and reduces fatigue. Your Swedish Massage service will be performed by a highly trained and licensed massage therapists that leave you feeling relaxed, refreshed and ready to re-enter your day.

Myofascial Release Deep Tissue Massage

It provides deep relief for chronic muscle aches and pain from strain caused by work, sports, texting, computer usage, repetitive motion and incorrect posture. Myofascial Release Deep Tissue Massage also relieves headaches, nerve tension, limited range of motion and increases joint flexibility.

90 minutes – $130


Thai Ball Massage

Is a unique massage from Thailand incorporating warmed herbal compresses. Aromatherapy and heat create a luxurious session designed to relax muscles and increase blood flow which is vital for muscle health.

90 minutes – $130


Pre-Natal Massage

Prenatal, Massage focuses on the specific concerns of the mother-to-be throughout each trimester of pregnancy. This massage addresses concerns such as swelling, excess water retention, circulation issues and other discomforts which often occur during pregnancy. Prenatal Massage Therapy also helps to enhance the function of muscles and joints as well as general body tone. In addition, after the mother has given birth, massage treatment can assist in restoring the body back to its normal condition. This massage can Not be combined with Sauna and is not recommended in the first trimester or high risk pregnancy . Doctor’s permission required for clients who are under the age of 18 or over the age of 35.

Warm Stone Massage

Warm Stone Massage is a natural therapy by which warm stones are positioned on specific areas of the body to elicit a therapeutic benefit. The heated stones create a lovely warm and relaxing massage session which softens tired, overused muscles.

75 minutes – $110


Onc0logy Massage

Specifically designed to reduce stress and provide relaxation for cancer patients. Ask your doctor if massage would be recommended for your individual needs. Oncology massage can Not be combined with Sauna.

60 minutes – $90


Manual Lymph Drainage

It is a light massage designed to stimulate lymph movement, boosting the immune system, and decreasing fluid retention and increasing energy.

75 minutes – $120
